The joined pashmina wool twill-tapestry woven in polychromes predominantly in the key of red, with elongated buti containing elegant, stylised cypresses and chinar (plane tree) leaves in-filled with minute floral detail, the inner square with sprigs of floral repeats with four diagonal buti invading the black centre of chevron-weave wool, the fine continuous harlequin border of embroidered polychrome applique pieces, the joined outer border of miniature harlequin niches culminating in a minute fringe, 212cm x 216cm.
