A George IV early 19th century unmarked gold seal, circa 1820

Fluted domed form with a foliate chased edge and central stem. The carnelian seal intaglio cut with a crest of issuing from a cloud an arm holding a terrestrial globe in a Roman setting. 15 carat.

Height – 3 cm / 1.15 inches

Weight – 13.5 grams

The crest is for Bishopston, Warwickshire
