A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver rose water sprinkler (gulab pash), Cutch circa 1890
Raj period. The globular body upon a spreading pedestal foot. The detachable tall baluster stem terminating in a chased foliate terminal. Decorated throughout with deep chased foliate scrolls and rosettes against a textured ground in panels, the junction below the screw thread formed as stylised acanthus leaves, repeated to underside of globular section.
