The History of Windsor and its Neighbourhood, pp xvili, 359, 21 fine copper engraved plates and plans, 14 engraved vignettes in text, some plates lightly foxed, but overall a nice and crisp copy, with very wide and generous margins of the First Edition, substantial folio (13 1/2ins × 16 1/2ins, 340 × 420mm), contemporary full calf, rebacked at an early date using the original backstrip, now a little rubbed, printed for Edmund Lloyd, 1813.
***Lowndes lists a Large Paper atlas 4to but with plates in Proof on India Paper. This copy is as large, not on India Paper. End-paper with neat MS inscription "To James Lockyer with Geo Mor-ant's affectionate regards, October 21 1840."
