EMILE GALLE (FRENCH, 1846-1904): A rosewood, walnut and marquetry music cabinet, circa. 1900, with a shaped top, above two doors decorated with a moonlit landscape with flowers and moths, opening to reveal a storage space, with bronze moth escutcheon plates above a frieze drawer applied with further moths, with three sheet music shelves and a folio storage area below, with pierced curving divisions, on stile feet, the sides decorated with panels of treble clefs, moths and lillies, signed in marquetry to the doors
