An early 20th century Anglo – Indian silver three-piece tea set, Kashmir with Egyptian import marks for Cairo 1920
Raj period. Comprising a teapot, a milk jug, and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each of rounded circular form modeleld after a lotus, upon openwork acanthus type spreading feet, the handles formed as serpents, the teapot with a hinged domed lid surmounted by a chased pyriform finial. The bodies with chased decoration in poppy pattern. Each marked underneath with import marks for 900 minimum standard. (3)
