A early 19th century Staffordshire figure of a child and her poodle, possibly by Samuel Alcock, circa 1840-50, the begging poodle with a dunces hat, the child with a book, raised on a yellow shaped base, with 'Christies' and 'Staffords New Bond St' labels to the underside, together with a recumbent poodle with its rear raised over an elaborate floral encrusted stepped plinth, and two others.
