A CHINESE BRONZE FIGURE OF A BODHISATTVA.

Ming Dynasty, dated to the 32nd year of Wanli, 1604, and of the period.

The figure seated in loose-fitting garb with legs crossed and hands outstretched, holding an alms bowl in the left hand, a bird to the left shoulder and an offering vessel to the right, the head crowned with a tall tiara with an image of the Buddha, the face with downcast eyes with traces of cold painted decoration, all raised on a double lotus plinth, 25cm H, 1.36kg.
