A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver dressing table jar, Cutch circa 1890

Raj period. Of cylindrical form with domed pull off lid. Chased with foliate scrolls and rosettes, the lid with a tiger, hare, dog, and deer. Gilt interior. Together with an early 20th century jar, Lucknow circa 1910, of the same form the lid surmounted by a figure of a peacock, a vacant shield shape cartouche to the front, chased in Cutch style foliate scrolls and rosettes.
