A SMALL SAMANID-REVIVAL POTTERY BOWL

Of typical conical shape, resting on a flat circular foot, coated in off-white and glazed, featuring a rising bird in the centre in a very similar style to Samanid creations with calligraphy and figural decorations, and four short dotted bands to the rim, all painted in black, 21.5cm diam.
