A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE LION DOGS.

Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period.

Each seated on its haunches, baring its fangs, one with a puppy climbing over his mother's right paw, the second with an articulated ball, their backs and heads applied with stylised curls, decorated with green, yellow and aubergine enamels, raised on high rectangular plinths with sides pierced with a leaf-shaped apertures, together with wood stands, 36cm H. (4)
