An unusual early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver milk or cream jug, Lucknow circa 1910
Raj period. Of compressed globular form upon a collet foot, the short pouring spout opposite a scroll handle chased as a cobra. The body with an unusual chased pattern of Cutch style rosettes and foliate scrolls interspersed with trailing leaves similar to Kashmir poppy pattern. Chased leaves to foot rim.
