A rare mid to late-19th century Anglo – Indian silver gilt double scent bottle, Lucknow circa 1860-80
Raj period. Of decagonal form with screw thread bulbous caps, one with a lift out silver stopper. The body with alternating chased panels of coriander pattern and trailing vine leaves. The end caps with a rosettes of foliate scrolls to one end and an eight pointed star to the other.
Length – 13.3 cm / 5.25 inches
Weight – 115 grams / 3.7 ozt
