A Staffordshire porcelain poodle, by Samuel Alcock, circa 1840-50, seated on a heavily scrolled mound base in yellow, impressed '312' to underside, along with another group possibly by Dudson, circa 1830-50, modelled as an unclipped bitch with puppies to her side, raised on rococo style base with gilt highlights, together with another similar model on a blue painted cushion, and three others, (6)

Found in 'Dogs in English Porcelain' by Dennis G Rice, colour plates 58 and 88

Largest height 13.5cm x width 11cm depth 7.5cm

Provenance: From the Estate of the late Mrs Patricia Rose, of The Miniature Poodle Club of Great Britain – Breeder of Miradel Poodles
