A George III sterling silver vinaigrette, London 1790 by William Rudkins (reg. March 1789)
Of rectangular form, the hinged lid raised by a plain thumbpiece, the lid centre engraved with initials ACB in cursive script within crossed laurel wreath, otherwise all with engraved lattice work. The interior with a finely pierced hinged grill of flower heads heightened with engraving. Fully marked to the base, part-marked to the lid, grill unmarked.
