Of deep rounded shape, resting on a thin straight unglazed circular foot, the rim slightly everted, the white body covered in transparent glaze and painted in underglaze cobalt blue and black pigments, the centre filled with leaf designs and rosette sprays, the cavetto with large lotus flowers amidst rosette and vegetal tendrils, a cross-hatched black band of fretwork underneath the rim, similar decoration on the exterior, the base plain, 38.5cm diam. and 16cm high.
