A George III sterling silver gilt cast snuff box, London 1809 by Joseph Ash I

Of rectangular form with rounded corners, the hinged lid with a cast and chased classical scene of figures, edged with matted decoration. The sides with trailing vine and the underside with basket weave. Fully marked to the lid bezel only.
