AN IMPERIAL CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE SPOON.

Qing Dynasty, Guangxu mark and of the period.

The flat bottomed bowl giving way to an arched neck terminating in a gilt decorated ruyi head, the interior enamelled with blue butterflies and pink prunus flower and buds, the bowl encircled by an iron red key scroll band, the exterior decorated with bats, peaches and ribboned ornamental knots against a yellow ground with four roundels enclosing the characters wan shou wu jiang enclosing an oval panel enclosing the six-character reign mark, details heighened in gilt, 19.5cm long.
