Comprising: a carving of two cats seated face-to-face on a tasselled fan, a seated lion with bifurcated tail, a headless qilin with flaming body seated on a cloud, a horse and monkey group and a lion with a pup clambering over the back, 3.5 - 6.5cm. (5)
Provenance: an important South African private collection, acquired between the 1960s and 1980s, thence by descent to the present owner.
