PORTRAITS OF CHILDREN, c.1850s, a pair of hand coloured Daguerreotypes, both featuring the same little girl, one example a sixth plate with studio stamp on the rear of the red morocco case, with single lower hinge, and the other a quarter plate in unmarked red morocco, side hinged case, presumably with her sibling, both plates with some minor tarnishes, the larger plate suffering from glass disease
