Lyell (Charles) clipped signature: “Cha. Lyell, author of Principles of Geology & c &c”, dated 1846 [with] Principles of Geology, 4 vol., fifth edition, original boards, rebacked, 1837;

Mantell (Gideon) Thoughts on a Pebble or, a First Lesson in Geology, hand-coloured frontispiece, printed wrappers, children’s library inscription to front free endpaper, front wrapper and frontispice detached, g.e., very rare, Dean citing only the BL and Harvard copies, [Dean 126], 1836 [with] Hindley (Charles) An autograph letter signed, addressed to William Henry Blaauw, proposing the loan of the “original ‘Visitors Book’ of the Mantellian Museum” to Blaauw’s Sussex Archaeological Society, dated 1857, accompanied by a copy of the Mantellian Museum catalogue, fourth edition, 1836, and related modern correspondence;

Buckland (William) Geology and Mineralogy considered with reference to Natural Theology, 2 vols., half-titles (Bridgewater Treatise VI), 87 plates (some folding), original cloth, vol. 1 rebacked, 1836, with duplicates;

Penn (Granville) A Comparative Estimate of the Mineral and Mosaical Geologies, pp.167-168 lacking (provided in facsimile), 1822;
