A pair of Alexander III late 19th century Russian 84 zolotnik silver and enamel twin candlesticks, Saint Petersburg circa 1886 by Friedrich Emil Henrichsen
Upon stepped circular bases, the screw thread twin branch candlestick sections with a ball centre, with circular knop projections, the centre surmounted by a disc with champlevé enamel decoration of initials MS in cypher, below a count’s coronet. Underside of discs engraved with date 1886. Marked to the underside of bases ony with maker’s mark FEH incuse and dvonik assay mark. (2)
