An Alexander III late 19th century Russian 84 zolotnik silver and enamel box, Saint Petersburg circa 1886 by Friedrich Emil Henrichsen

Of cylindrical form with a pull off slightly domed lid. Engine turned decoration throughout, the lid with champlevé enamel decoration of initials MS in cypher, below a count’s coronet. Gilt interior. Marked to the lid interior and the base bezel with maker’s mark FEH incuse and dvonik assay mark.
