Text-Book of Palaeontology, 3 vols., first English edition, shelfmark to spine of vol. 3, 1900-1925; Transactions of the Geological Society of London, five extracted articles, including: Webster (Thomas) ‘Observations on the Strata at Hastings, in Sussex’, 14pp., two plates including a large folding elevation, stamped and stained, 1819-25, two others similar; Dixon (Frederick) The Geology and Fossils of the Tertiary and Cretaceous Formations of Sussex, First Edition, 44 lithographic plates, spotting and staining, cloth, rebacked preserving original spine, 1850; Parkinson (James) Organic remains of a former world, plate vol. only, 50 hand-coloured engravings, contemporary half calf gilt, 1804-11; with others on the same subject, and various pamphlets, mixed bindings and condition, v.s.
