An early 20^th century Chinese Export silver pedestal bowl or comport, Shanghai circa 1910, marked Liang Sheng, retailed by Tuck Chang

Qing dynasty, the bowl of circular form with scalloped rim upon a pedestal foot formed as a Chinese dragon upon a domed circular base with cavetto edge. The sides of the bowl with embossed decoration of various panels; birds within bamboo, Chinese dragons amidst clouds, fruiting peach trees and figures within a village. The base with chased decoration to resembles waves. Marked to the foot rim with artisan mark 良生 (LIANG SHENG). with retailer’s mark TC.
