Condition: Good. Damaged labels
Pol Roger White Foil Brut NV. This collection of bottle aged Pol Roger is exceptional. Bottled in 2001 and 2003, the twenty years of bottle ageing gives this fine Champagne complexity, a gentle balance of fruit and acidity, making it far beyond a young wine. Pol Roger is made very traditionally with some use of old oak to preoxidate the must, the use of older reserve wines, as well as young wines from the House's fine vineyards mainly 1er cru. A true example of the beauty of the blend, and with extra age, superb. Christopher Burr MW
From the temperature-controlled cellar of a South of France estate, owned by a distinguished collector of fine and rare mature wines. It is worth noting that the prized damp conditions, ideal for ageing, have led to some label deterioration.
