A VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER CASED TRAVELLING TIMEPIECE ‘CARRIAGE CLOCK’, LONDON 1896 BY THE ARMY AND NAVY COOPERATIVE SOCIETY

Of rectangular form raised upon four bun feet. The case with embossed decoration of foliage and scrolls, the back engraved with initials. An opposable handle. Gilt interior. The French rectangular single train movement with horizontal balance wheel escapement and integral winder to backplate, (untested). The 1.5 inch white enamel dial with a blued steel spade hand, Roman numerals, convex glass deficient. Fully marked to side and part-marked.
