TWO CHINESE SOAPSTONE SEALS AND A JADE DRAGON CARVING.

19th / 20th Century.

One seal carved to depict two bats among scrolling clouds through red and cream coloured stone, the other carved with a bird in a pond among flowering lotus plants, the pendant carved and pierced to depict a dragon writhing among clouds, 6.5 - 7cm H. (3)

Provenance: an important South African private collection, acquired between the 1960s and 1980s, thence by descent to the present owner.
