An early 20th century Iraqi silver and niello three-piece cruet set, Omara circa 1930 signed Nahy

Comprising a mustard pot, a salt, and a pepper pot. The pepper pot modelled after a minaret, this and the mustard and salt of square section with incurved corners all raised on four ball feet. The mustard pot nielloed with a boatman in gufa, two camels with a walker and a dhow sailing boat to the sides, the lid edged with a geometric band. The salt with the same scenes additionally with the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon). The pepper additionally with Abu Hanifa al in Nu'man, Baghdad. The lid of pepper with a bayonet section, nielloed with panels of rusticated archways, terminating in a pinnacle finial. Each signed نهي to the side. (3)
