A late 19^th century Anglo – Indian silver nuts dish, Cutch, Bhuj circa 1890 by Oomersi Mawji (active 1860-90)

Raj period, of hemi-spherical form upon three cast and chased splay feet decorated with saz leaves and a stylised fleur-de-lis. The body with deep chased decoration of foliate scrolls with rosettes between acanthus leaf bands and a plain applied rim. Marked underneath O.M BHUJ encameo.
