A GLOBULAR SILVER-INLAID BRASS HUQQA BASE
Possibly Deccan or Northern India, 18th - 19th century
Of typical globular shape, resting on a plain base, rising to a ringed everted neck and flattened rim, the exterior decorated with a cusped grid filled with flowers, flanked by borders of scrolling rosettes, a band of chevron design to the lower neck and the same grid pattern of the main body, 17.5cm high.
