An early 20th century Chinese export silver three-piece tea service, Shanghai circa 1910 retailed by Luen Hing
Qing / Republican period. Comprising a teapot, milk jug and twin handled sugar bowl. The globular bodies raised upon spreading circular feet, each with a loop handled simulating bamboo. The teapot with leaf capped bamboo style spout opposite a similar handle with pinned turned ivory insulators. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a fixed cast finial formed as an overturned root. The bodies decorated with cast and applied flowering prunus trees. Each marked underneath with LH90 and a character mark. (3)
