A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver goblet, Cutch circa 1890
Raj period, tapering cylindrical form upon a domed pedestal stem. The body with a vacant shield shape cartouche reserved with chased foliate scrolls with rosettes and running animals of two lions and a dog, all between bands of stylised acanthus leaves. The base chased with foliate scrolls with rosettes, the central stem with chased stylised leaves with a central knop. Gilt interior.
