A MYSORE CARVED SANDALWOOD FAN

Of typical shape, with an elaborate and intricately carved sandalwood handle of rectangular shape, decorated with two birds to the sides and fine floral meanderings all around, the wavy fan plaques designed as the sinuous body of a five-headed Naga snake, each plaque individually pierced with floral and geometric designs, 38.5cm long.
