A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'BATS' WINE COOLER.

Qing Dynasty, 18th / 19th Century.

The flared body with rocaille handles and a sprayed foot modelled after a silver form, each side painted with five bats encircling a stylised shou character on a bright yellow ground, a band of lappets below, with borders of key fret to the rim and around the footrim, the interior in turquoise, together with a reticulated wood stand, 14.5cm H, 15cm diameter.
