VICTORIAN INTEREST, c.1860s - 1880s.

VICTORIAN INTEREST, c.1860s - 1870s. A collection of approx. 35 carte-de-visite albumen prints of Victorian children taken primarily in England, each measuring 110 x 65mm, including 12 group school pictures (six by W. Hone, Liverpool, six homemade), and one fine example of a Frank Meadow Sutcliffe studio portrait of three young children. Further photographers include The London Stereoscopic Society, Negretti & Zambra, J. Usher, Hennah & Kent, W. Spanton, the New School of Photography at Euston Road, Robinson & Thompson, and others. Together with two cabinet card portraits of children by Sunderland & Hudson and Vandyke.
