Two George IV / Victorian sterling silver lancet cases, one Birmingham 1829 by Joseph Wilmore, the other Birmingham 1841 by Taylor & Perry

Each of tapering form with a hinged lid. Each engraved with a crest of a griffin’s head erased, collared with initials J.F.R, in Gothic script and gothic script flourished, respectively. The George IV example fitted with four lancets with tortoiseshell sheathes. Each fully marked. (2)

Length – 6.6 cm / 2.55 inches

Silver weight – 71 grams / 2.28 ozt
