A pair of Austin 12 motor cars for that very special occasion

Calling all brides and grooms: reserve the ultimate ‘his ’n’ hers’ modes of classic car transport for your big day.

Lovingly restored, and beautifully presented in matching daffodil yellow, these two exquisite driving machines will chauffeur you with panache and class in spades to your event, and whisk you back to the reception after tying the knot.

Both of these Austin 12s, one a convertible open road tourer, the other a Harley saloon (each now supercharged), were produced between 1933 and 1934. Built on a conventional chassis, with leaf springs and rigid axles front and rear, the Austin 12 nonetheless offered many state of the art features as standard, including such innovations as a single windscreen wiper in front of the driver, a petrol gauge, a clock and a rear view mirror. In pre-War road tests it scored highly for access through all doors (perfect for managing the special one’s dress and train); it was applauded for its excellent braking, and in those years offered a commendable top speed of 48 mph. At the time the various variants retailed new at just north of £200.
