A LATE VICTORIAN SHERATON REVIVAL CROSS-BANDED AND LINE INLAID CYLINDER BUREAU, IN THE MANNER OF W J MANSELL, the rectangular top with a brass pierced edge above two frieze drawers, over a cylinder top enclosing a fitted interior with drawers and pigeon-holes, above a long single drawer, on square legs terminating in spade feet, joined by a stretcher

Condition report

Overall this desk is in good condition, there are some raised/ cracks to venner on the curved top, general wear and denting to the corners/edges of the legs, there is a long split to the right hand edge of the top, caused by a movement underneath the veneer, the action is very stiff and will need some attention, the cover will open 10cm, interior seems ok but full examination was limited, the knee hole height is 69cm high, there are some marks to the left hand top section
