TWO SMALL SILVER BOXES AND A SILVER REPOUSSÉ TRAY
Possibly Ceylon, Sri Lanka, 19th century
Comprising two engraved silver boxes, of compressed oval shape, decorated with typical Sinhalese floral sprays and vegetal scrollwork, the largest 7cm x 6cm; and a rectangular tray with repoussé figural decoration with two squatting dancers with floating shawls, encased within a band of interlocking arches, 11.2cm x 19.6cm, 300g.
