Five of the artist's sketch books, all clothbound - four Winsor & Newton - three 14 x 23 cm (5 1/2 x 9 in) and one 21.5 x 14 (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 in) - plus one Müller & Co 13.5 x 18.5cm (5 1/4 x 7 1/4 in) each circa 30 pages; in various media, inc. pencil, pastels, pen and ink and watercolour dating from 1903-1940s, all with annotations and notes, and including designs for stained glass windows, sketches of figures; studies for paintings and landscapes, including views of Richmond Castle, Buxton, Llanelltyd, and Newport. Together with two books of verse by the artist Apotheosis, A dramatic poem in four acts and Wild Oats, produced by Woodlands Press, printed by the Stanhope Press Ltd, Strood, Rochester and published in 1906 by Elkin Matthews, London.
