A late 19th century Chinese Export silver beaker, Canton circa 1880 by Bao Feng retailed by Wang Hing
Qing Dynasty, of tapering cylindrical form with a moulded rim, with embossed decoration of a detailed scene of rural farmers scoring the earth with outbuildings in the background, tea ebing poured by a crouched figure to the side, tools and bamboo baskets lain before them with chickens, besides a fence a figure waling underside a small archway, looking over to a man leading a cow, a bridge in the background being crossed by a man with baskets upon a yoke, all with various trees and a textured ground. Marked underneath with retailer’s mark WH, numeral 90 and artisan mark寶豐(BAO FENG).
