A heavy George V Art Deco parcel gilt sterling silver jewellery casket, London 1935 by Mappin and Webb

in the Carolean style, of elongated octagonal form with a hinged lid, raised upon four cast scroll feet. The lid with raying engine turned decoration engraved with an initial S. Velvet fitted interior. Fully and part-marked.
