An early 20th century Chinese export silver strawberry set, Canton circa 1910 by Tai Chang Long retailed by Hung Chong of Shanghai

Qing dynasty, comprising a cream jug and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each of lobed baluster form upon a spreading circular foot, the handles modelled as a bamboo, leading to a scalloped rim. The body with cast and applied decoration of panels of bamboo, buddha’s hand citrus, flowering prunus, long grass, and peach trees. Each marked underneath 泰昌隆 (TAI CHANG LONG) and retailer’s mark HC. (2)
