A pair of late 19th / early 20th century Chinese Export silver salts, Canton circa 1900 by Zhao Ji, retailed by Wang Hing
Qing dynasty. Each of compressed circular form with a gadrooned edge upon three bird claw feet. Each with a vacant shield shape cartouche to the front, the bodies with chased decoration of figures with houses and various trees. Each with an unmarked salt spoon, the handle modelled as bamboo. Gilt interiors. Each marked underneath with retailer’s mark WH, and artisan mark 朝記 (ZHAO JI). (4)
