A pair of late 19th / early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver salts, Kashmir circa 1900
Raj period. Each formed as a kangri, chased decoration in rosette pattern, gilt interior. Together with a late 19th century pepper pot, Cutch circa 1870, of barrel form with a screw thread lid, chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes. Also, to include a pepper pot, Madras circa 1880, of cylindrical form with a screw thread cap surmounted by a figure of Ganesha, the body with embossed decoration in Swami pattern of deities within oval vignettes, below a border of trailing foliate scrolls and rosetted and above a border of animals among a training vine.
