Two French 18 carat gold thimbles, one Paris 1847-1919 possibly by Gabriel Pistre (reg. 1900)

With engraved decorative panels with a vacant cartouche above a chased rim. The other example French provincial post-1919 with makers mark XK with device in-between, with a decorative band of anthemion’s, with an applied vacant shield cartouche. (2)
