Circle Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879)

MRS CAMERON & JULIE, Portrait taken at Little Holland House, 1858. Salt paper print from a calotype negative, image size, 153 x 110mm, with manuscript title in ink with date, on a separate piece of paper, this extraordinary pre-raphaellite study, taken in the gardens of Little Holland House, of Cameron, with her daughter, the person who famously gifted her the camera she so prolificly used, was originally part of an album sold at Sotheby's on the 18th October 1974 lot 296. The portrait is otherwise unrecorded.
