The tapered body rises from a splayed foot to a rounded shoulder painted with figures of dignitaries in an interior, the trumpet neck illustrates the scene from the Dream of the Red Chamber when a young scholar pleads with an abbot to allow him to live in the temple, the cleric seated opposite the young man with a fly whisk, 45cm H.
