A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE DISH AND AN IRON-RED DISH.

Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period.

The first dish painted with a pair of mandarin ducks on a pond beneath tall lotus plants, a pair of egrets above them, the cavetto moulded with panels each containing a wild blossom, the second dish displaying a collection of vases, incense burners and jars, with blossoms and further precious objects at the rim, 22cm diameter. (2)
